Write up on back of Card: Artist Chris Stothard, born May 1952 in Louth, Lincolnshire, has been 'into' aircraft for as long as he can remember. He started painting aircraft in 1977 and has been an associate of the Guild Aviation Artists since the early 1980's. He has paintings in private and military collections worldwide.
Vickers Wellington This aircraft was noted for it's geodetic construction, designed by Dr Barnes Wallis, the Vickers Wellington was the mainstay of the Bomber Command during the early days of World War II.
