Write up on back of Card: Artist Chris Stothard, born May 1952 in Louth, Lincolnshire, has been 'into' aircraft for as long as he can remember. He started painting aircraft in 1977 and has been an associate of the Guild Aviation Artists since the early 1980's. He has paintings in private and military collections worldwide.
The Hawder Hind This aircraft entered service in November 1935 as a light-bomber and equipped 20 squadrons of the R.A.F. Hinds were being phased out by 1937 but many were emplouyed as trainers during the Second World War.
