Write up on back of Card: Artist Chris Stothard, born May 1952 in Louth, Lincolnshire, has been 'into' aircraft for as long as he can remember. He started painting aircraft in 1977 and has been an associate of the Guild Aviation Artists since the early 1980's. He has paintings in private and military collections worldwide.
Blackburn NA39 Buccaneer The last all British designed strike aircraft was designed for the Royal Navy as a low level attacker with nuclear capability. Seen here in R.A.F. service, two 'Bucks' race in low to the target range on the east coast of the U.K.
