Write up on back of Card: Artist Chris Stothard, born May 1952 in Louth, Lincolnshire, has been 'into' aircraft for as long as he can remember. He started painting aircraft in 1977 and has been an associate of the Guild Aviation Artists since the early 1980's. He has paintings in private and military collections worldwide.
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Formed as a 'living' memorial to all those who gave their lives in the R.A.F. during the two world wars, the famous formation "Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane" continue to thrill and impress at air events in the U.K. and throughout Europe.
