Write up on back of Card: Artist Chris Stothard, born May 1952 in Louth, Lincolnshire, has been 'into' aircraft for as long as he can remember. He started painting aircraft in 1977 and has been an associate of the Guild Aviation Artists since the early 1980's. He has paintings in private and military collections worldwide.
Avro Lancaster B MkI W4118 Admiral Prone 106 Squadron. Piloted by Guy Gibson who (with 617 Squadron) led the Dambusters raid in May 1943.
